After years of civil strife and military conflict, the Imperium of Sol was born. Guided by the star angel Sedriel, Humanity was brought into a golden renaissance. There was progress in the fields of science, politics, and society. Humanity became arrogant and greedy. The courts and the military began to acquire more power from the state. Sedriel saw the growing decadence and created the first of his warriors: the Star-Knights. They were led by Sir Amred Marith of Earth, a noble-born Human. His policy was to keep the peace and avoid civil war. After years of constant politicking, the Star-Knights declared secession from the Imperium. Now the Star Knights exist outside of the Imperium's jurisdiction, without restraint. The three factions of the Sol System fight for dominance. The Trade Guild, ever prosperous and more so greedy. The decadent Imperium of Sol, determined to take back what they claim is rightfully their divine birthright. The death of Emperor Harkhan, the last of his dynasty, has caused a rift in the Empire. His wife, Annabelle Harkhan, has succeeded as Empress but is held accountable and is powerless to the courts and bureaucrats. The renaissance of the Human race is over. A new era of Humanity dawns.

Naval Ships of the Imperium of SolThe mainline ship of the Imperium of Sol is the Dragon class Cruiser. The Dragon Cruiser was designed by the Trade Guild and manufactured by the Imperial Shipyards. The contracts between Guild shipwrights and Imperial manufacturers have expired but the current Dragon cruiser design has been in use since 3990. There are currently three Dragon class cruisers: Dragon, Sphinx, and Wyrm. The doctrine of the Dragon cruiser is to operate independently of other units. It is able to conduct operations with minimal Frigate support with its long-range sensors. However, the Dragon lacks a missile sensor.

The Constantine-class support Frigate is a patrol ship that assists in various operations as a laser warship. Its role is not very flexible in regards to the Imperial Navy. However, it is used as a cheap line ship to fight hostile screens. Usually assigned to aspiring captains in the Imperial Navy. The contract was created by the Trade Guild back in 3980 when the first Trans-Newtonian elements were discovered. The Imperial Council saw the design as the height of technological progress when it was first created but has fallen out of style. Currently, there are five Constantine class Frigates in the Imperial Navy's service.

The pride of the Imperium's fleet is the Covenant-class Carrier. The Covenant has 12 Maxim class Bombers onboard. The Covenant class carrier enough ordnance for 3 sorties. It is armed with little in the way of self-defense but is able to hold on its own with sorties and support vessels (like the Constantine class and the Dragon class.) Currently, the Covenant only has 1 of its ship class in service to the Imperial Navy. The Imperial Council is very protective and cautious with the Covenant class. They see the carrier as a relic of the Imperium and a sentinel.

The Maxim class Bomber is a heavy bomber designed by the Trade Guild recently. Engineers and designers created the Maxim with sortie efficiency in mind. The Trade Guild licensed the Maxim Bomber to the Star Knights as well. This caused tension between the Imperium and the Star Knight Order. Armies of the Imperium of SolThe Imperial Army is very small. The standing army of the Imperium is at 1 raised battalion consisting of three companies on Earth. After the Star-Knights left the Imperium, they took the large Imperial Army with them. The remnants of the proper Imperial Army are militias and nearly raised regiments.
