use it and SM away whatever odd ball tiny value what you want... is what I'd do if I weren't OCD like the rest of you.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter as I've cancelled ongoing expansion and it changed to show a partial expansion.

But mod rate doesn't change until it is done, or until you cancel it early. you don't lose expansion progress, but you don't gain the incremental mod rate increase.

This is what I do, although I then go back and calculate how much material was used for those few extra tons and SM it back into the stockpiles.

I think a better option would be "Build to xxxx capacity". Then all you do is set your capacity and go.

I was dreaming about it for two years! Steve, please think about that feature!
