How to rename a task group on a laptop with reduced height enabled?

Create a new Task Group in the same place, transfer all the ships across, delete the old Task Group?

Use Naval Organization tab. You can put in the name you want as a Branch and form it that way.

you know everytime you change something outside the navel org it does not change in that screen

Yes, Naval Organisation tab does not read information from any other window or tab. If you cannot reach all the buttons in the TG window due to Reduced Height Windows being on, then I would recommend to sticking slavishly to the Naval Organisation tab. Though I do seem to recall being able to rename TGs even with that option on when I was still playing on a laptop with 1440x900 screen.
