In C# will we be able to colonize hundreds of planets without breaking the game?

Its very unlikely it'll break. The current version won't break at hundreds of colonies. It will run like arse though. That's what C# is trying to address, and while nobody except Steve knows for certain exactly how far we can go until it starts running like arse again, I have confidence that most of us will get bogged down in micromanaging of colonies before we run out of patience on their turns processing.
