System Infrastructure
« on: December 23, 2019, 09:51:39 PM »
What types of installations do you put in systems when you first colonize them? Stuff like mines, listening posts, PDFs, etc.

I try to make it so the AI can take over development as soon as possible because I hate managing planets. I wish there was a system where when you order ships and the planet doesn't have enough resources to fulfill it the game will automatically makes a civilian contract to pick up resources from the closest source available. I also hope your civilians will be able to develop your planets more or less independently once you initially colonize them in C#.

Drop auto-mine on the planet long before I start dropping infrastructure (if needed) and other stuff.

Auto mines would be the first. A listening post too, but not necessarily on the same planet.

I use civ transports a lot, but you cannot prioritize where and what they will deliver first so that usually makes me just add a few things at a time.
