Thanks for the update!

Are new releases usually not savegame compatible?

I'm way too invested to give up my current game so that was disappointing news.

The minor releases (1. 12. 1, 1. 12. 2, etc. ) tend to be compatible, while the major releases (1. 10, 1. 11, 1. 12, etc. ) are not.

Makes sense.

I'm having way too much fun with my current game to abandon it, but maybe someday I will restart and take advantage of these great fixes.   :)

This game is amazing once you learn enough to get into it.   I've never felt closer to actually running a Pournelle Empire of Man or a more "realistic" interstellar empire.

I know the feeling. I'm still on 1.9.5 and skipped both 1.10 and 1.11 because the game was going too well. Probably going to start a new one with 1.12, once the first bug fixing days have gone by.

is the refuel at 50% using the average fleet fuel? because it feels like it does, and then the ship that have slightly less fuel keep getting out of fuel like 2 hours of travel from earth

There were a lot of changes and fixes in this patch. Therefore, don't start any major campaigns until the patch has been out for at least 48 hours.

Is this still relevant? Are we to expect any additional patches soon? Because...

You know, it must be said in case a game breaking bug does rise. It happens in a couple of editions. Unless that happens it may be interely possible that following iterations will be under 1.12, so .1 .2 etc and in that case you should be fine as it is save compatible.

From what I am seeing there arent many bugs as 4 or 5 are the same first run bug which could happen also in the past editions and we are in the 4th day...

game has been quite uneventful so far, no npr (gen chance 30%) and no precursors/ruins (gen chance 20%) anywhere, despite the abundance of habitable worlds found.

can it be something I've overlooked in the game setup?

I think it's quite normal considering your settings and chances. My last game had the same as yours plus human NPR and NPR activates ancient races.
I had discovered the same amount of systems (maybe 2-3 mores) but no NPR at all, just a couple of precursors or soemthing.

The best solution for something like this is to increase the chance by 5-10% for each new system

I have an issue, when I try to download it with Chrome, and only Windows Defender active (W10), I got a warning there is a virus in the .RAR.

I don't want to freak anyone, but can it be only a false positive?
