*The original mark I anti-missile missile suffered from an unusual bug, confirmed by Steve. The stats shown above for the AMM II are “as designed”. Unfortunately, somehow, the original mark I missile design ended up with an active sensor strength of 48. I did not design it with an active sensor, and I don’t know how it ended up with an active sensor. To give it a sensor with a strength of 48 I would have had to devote 20 msp’s to getting that much strength, but the overall missile size remained “1”, so it is obviously a bug. When I noticed it I checked it with Steve who confirmed that it is a rarely encountered bug, and he warned me to check the cost of the missile, which might be in line with the capabilities. I thought I checked, but didn’t really look at it, so failed to notice that the resulting AMM had a total cost of .25 tritanium, 10 fuel, and, unfortunately, 48 uridium!!!! I did not notice this problem until I nearly bankrupted the Zog race while building AMM’s, at which time I designed the AMM II, to replace the mark I version.
