Is there any way to remove a colony from a location?

I want to remove mined-out asteroids / comets / moons from my 'population locations' list, in the population and production window.
Is this possible?

If you want to permanently abandon the colony the use the Abandon button in the bottom right hand corner of the F2 screen.  Note: you will delete the colony and any associate population and facilities.
