Flashing White Screen between turns

Is anybody else noticing a flashing white/grey screen that is occurring in my game ( v5.42) in about every 1 in 3 turns after clicking on the 5 day button. The screen I view ( normally the system view )  will flash momentarily with this white screen before the events appear , if any , for the next turn.

Get that sometimes as well. Only once in a while, though. Never worried about it, I have to say, assuming it was just an effect of the screen refreshing.

Not sure about the flashing screen, but I've noticed recently that Aurora gets into a mode where it redraws all the open windows on the 5-day.  Not sure what gets it into (or out of) that mode.

The only time I've seen something similar is when I click on one of the screens and Aurora is still processing. It goes into "Not responding..." and stays until it's done.

Ive seen this fairly frequently, and I have the suspicion that it relates to new systems being generated - it always seems to happen when I explore a new system, and I think that on the occasions that I havent explored a WP an NPR may well have.

It might be because the System Map gets refreshed if you discover a new system.
