The invasion of California is imminent! If anyone wishes to take the role of the defenders of that area post here, once we figure out who (if any) take it we can talk strategy... and what you have to defend with.

FYI, it is vanishingly unlikely you will win, your choices are going to probably be limited to how you are going to lose, and to how much damage you might be able to do before losing.

I'd be interested in taking on the role of the doomed Californians.

Edit: If so, I'd like to know a bit more about the Californians, specifically: population, technological level, level of military/militia, general attitude of the populace (ie: would they try and face the NZDL in conventional-style warfare, or would they be more likely to adopt a guerilla, scorched earth policy).

Also, what would be known about the NZDL and their abilities?
