There is a Traveller 5 Kickstarter going on at http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/traveller5/traveller-5th-edition.

As some of the people around here (I am sure of waresky and IIRC Steve too) have fond memories of this game, I thought it couldn´t hurt to post a link here.

I pre-ordered that... ummm.. 3 years ago I think. Long enough ago that I got the original Traveller in the 2 volume set.

Personally I think the Mongoose version of Traveller is a much better bet,  I'm still scarred from the wrongness that was MM-Traveller (or Mighty Morphin' Traveller as I usually call it), and the Mongoose version has all the feel of the Real Traveller, with consistent and sensible rules

Update:

Almost to the day a year after backing the Kickstarter, I grabbed my Traveler V book from customs today.

Haven´t had time to take more than a quick peek into it but it is MASSIVE!

650+ pages, wow!

This will take some time to work through LOL!
