Screen problem

How did you get ResizeEnable to work with Vista? I just bought a new laptop where I can't change the screen resolution from 1024x800. I downloaded both Sdesk and the RE but I still can't get the full screens to display properly.

Any help will be much appreciated

I didn't do anything special, I just download RE and ran it.  It allows you to grab the edge of windows and drag to any size you want.  The only non-standard configuration on my laptop is that I have UAC turned off.

I'll give it another try. All that happened when I used it before was that the screens expanded to show the buttons and then snapped back to the original size. By the way, what is UAC?

I don't use Vista so I'm not familiar with your specific problem nor can I replicate it, but you could try running a vm and see if that works around your problem.  If nothing else, you can then scroll the entire desktop.

If you try it, make sure you install the guest additions.  Then the vm will automatically scale its display resolution as you resize the main windows.
