Yep, XP, I avoid Vista like the plague, and will not buy a new pc with this POS preinstalled (I simply refuse to be a Microsoft Alpha Tester. It?s bad enough to be a Beta tester with XP)

worked great, thanks.  If the other screens had the same option that would be awesome.

Scroll bars would be great.  In the next several months most of my "free" time on a computer will be on my laptop. So,  I installed Aurora3.2, and was dissapointed to find out my laptop only goes up to 1440x900. This means that several important screens are cut off right at or or before the last rows of buttons.  If you ever have the time to add luxury items into Aurora I vote to make sliders first.

There is a link (I think in this thread) to a utility that allows your desktop to be larger than your resolution. My laptop is also 1440x900, and that bites for Aurora. But with that program I can see all the extra buttons and things.

If you are talking about the link to the Sdesk program, I tried that but still couldn't get the entire window to show.  Maybe, I was doing something wrong, big possibility since I am not the most computer literate person in the world.  I try spending some more time on it.
Thanks, Mark

SDesk pops up a tiny box which shows your virtual screen size. I don't recall if you need to drag the dashed box around in there, or if the mouse on the edge of the screen with move the window.

I too was unable to get Sdesk to work with Aurora, and I am quite computer literate.  I ended up making my 1400x900 laptop display more by going into my video card's setup software and finding a box which says something along the lines of "show all available display formats, even if this computer doesn't support them" and checking it (I had to look quite a while to find it, and wasn't in an obvious place.  I may have needed to go in as administrator on my laptop.).  Now my computer displays all kinds of display sizes, which scroll off the edge of the screen.

Thanks, That gives me someplace to start from.  I should have some time over the next couple of nights to play around with it and hopefully get it working.

Anybody used SDesk with Vista and Aurora?
I'm away from my laptop at the moment so I can't install it and try for myself.  If SDesk is usable with Vista and Aurora then my free time will sudenly disappear  :D

I couldn't get Sdesk to work with aurora on Vista, but I'm not very computer literate.  I did find a program via google called ResizeEnable that let me change the size of the windows in vista. It works with Aurora fairly well.

Thanks for the pointer to ResizeEnable.  Its working well for me and I'm now slowly building my Aurora familiarity up again.  Stand by for lots of questions  :D

How did you get ResizeEnable to work with Vista? I just bought a new laptop where I can't change the screen resolution from 1024x800. I downloaded both Sdesk and the RE but I still can't get the full screens to display properly.

Any help will be much appreciated

Alan
