So I designed a PDC with some meson turrets, and AMM launchers.

If you are wondering, the active sensor is on a seperate PDC design, the fuel is just for RP purpose, and I dun goofed on adding ordnance properly in the design, so I had to add those manually later. Don't worry they have full magazines now.
I gave it 1 firecontrol per turret / launcher, and linked those in the ship>>combat settings window.
http://puu.sh/c2L1V/8a3af36015.pngIn that same window, I can set PD range in 10k units, and choose between area defense / final fire / final fire (self only), or in the case of AMM, the amount of anti-missiles per missile to fire. But if I select a firecontrol, set a PD range, and choose the appropriate PD mode, then click the 'set mode' button, it does not save either the range, nor the PD mode. Next time I select that firecontrol, the settings are reset back to default.
How do I set PD modes?
Additional question: Is there a faster way to link weapons to firecontrols than one ship at a time?
