Aurora Log Parser
« on: July 18, 2025, 11:39:13 AM »
Hi everyone, long time fan of Aurora since the dark ages of VB. I finally got around to making a little app inspired by Aurora Marvin and some other tools designed to extract event logs for my games. I found that none of the current apps have a good way to export the game log to a file, which is something I decided would be nice to have for those of us who like to experiment with AI tools. I made something to solve that need. My intent was to have something that could safely pull the game's log for my race in a format that I could feed into something like ChatGPT or Gemini and make it easier to ask for help with writing stories or other content.

Right now the app is super basic, only having the ability to present and export game logs, but I plan on adding new features over time. You can check out the current version here: https://github.com/ctrenthem159/aurora-parser.

From the main page, you can see there are many ideas in the works still, and the project is still in it's infancy but it does what it originally was intended to do, so I feel comfortable releasing it. I hope that there will be some interest here for something like this, and over time I want to add more to it. Feel free to give feedback here or on github, and if you find a problem, please open an issue so I can get it fixed.
